Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American actor and musician who was first noticed for her clever rappers, which explored issues of race and sexuality with humor that was bold and witty. Her career then grew to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was from the trumpet. She also received the classical and jazz education later exploring hip-hop in her teenager. In college she focused in her studies, pursuing a degree in both journalism and women's issues. While spending a few days that was spent in Beijing, she also studied Mandarin. Following graduation, she decided to pursue music as her main focus. The song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity across the Internet in the year 2012. The track was later included in her album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. This album also featured hit songs with viral appeal, like the body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown in NYC Bitche$. The latter song was linked directly with another Awkwafina project NYC a travel guide published in 2015. In addition to being a writer and musician in her portfolio, she decided to decided to focus on becoming an actor for a third venture. As well as early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several important roles such as Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP,"In Fina We Trust in June in the same year.
